INTRODUCTION

Central Asian Corporate Technologies Center (CTC) is a non-profitable organization, established in 1999 and located in the Kyrgyz Republic.

 

The main objectives of Corporate Technologies Center are:
• Research and analysis in the field of education, IT, human rights, social and economical sectors in Central Asia;
• Provision of training programs á seminars and conferences on above-mentioned issues;
• Dissemination of relevant information among entrepreneurs, SME, state organizations (booklets, leaflets and etc);
• Involvement in poverty alleviation process and reforming of various sectors of the Kyrgyz Republic;
• Involvement in civil process of the country;
• Fighting against corruption and inequity of different levels of population in CAR.

ACTIVITIES

INFORMATION DISSEMINATION FOR COUNTRY DEVELOPMENT:
Corporate Technologies Center established the network of Information dissemination Centers, which can disseminate information at the national level. UN/EEC decided to open the first pilot Information Dissemination Center in Bishkek jointly and on the basis of Corporate Technologies Center.

MICRO-CREDITING AND POVERTY REDUCTION:
Corporate Technologies Center with assistance of World Bank, UNDP, USAID, ADB and Kyrgyz Government data developed “Poverty Overview” in the Kyrgyz Republic and defined the potential market on microcrediting, which is the basis for development of poverty alleviation in the country.

RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS:
Special Study on tourism sector development in Kyrgyzstan
Within the framework of the World Bank project CTC initiated a Special Study on Tourism Sector Development in the Kyrgyz Republic. The goal is to study and analyze the tourism sector development in Kyrgyzstan, including present and future potential for its further development, perspectives of its development, competitiveness both in the republic and abroad.

DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC RELATIONS:
Corporate Technologies Center has implemented the project “Corporate Conversation” and on this basis developed series of TV programs devoted to the problems of economic development in Kyrgyzstan. The civil servants, managers of commercial organizations, and representatives of public society took part in “Corporate conversation”. Almost all of the have direct or indirect relations with business and each participant of the TV programs came up with his/her opinion on the raised questions.

EDUCATION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT:
Corporate Technologies Center together with the international Consultancy Company SEMA Group (Belgium) has implemented the ADB regional project “Subregional co-operation in Managing Education Reforms”. The general aim of the Technical Assistance is to share experience in the education reforms process of the six participating countries of the region by promoting sub regional cooperation at the policy level.

HUMAN RIGHTS:
CTC jointly with Gustav-Stresemann Institut e.V. (GSI) (Germany), in the fame of European Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights Programme, has developed informational campaign for Central Asian countries Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan. This project was designed to raise awareness and understanding of the International Criminal Court (ICC) within the armed forces, and civil society, and to support the implementation of the Rome Statute into national law of the Central Asian Countries and Mongolia.
